A positive mindset is the core to creating a happy, balanced life. Carving out space in our busy lives to create daily calm and positivity is crucial. It gives us a solid foundation to have more space to think, be creative, react to stressful situations better, and make us more positive, healthy individuals. This, in turn, has a ripple effect on our family, friends, and co-workers. If you change your mind, you can change your world. And when you change your world, you can change the world!

There are many quick and easy ways we can give our minds a little TLC – even a few minutes each day will do. Here are a few suggestions:

Meditation

There are many excellent tools available to help you meditate. Look into free and low-cost apps, YouTube videos, and guided meditations you can stream or download. Close your eyes and listen to the sound of waves, rain falling, or birds chirping – in nature or on your earphones. Remember – a few minutes is better than no minutes!

Create Quiet Time

Dim the lights and concentrate on a flickering candle or light a roaring fire, enjoying the smell and sound as it crackles. Pick a meditative activity like knitting or art that lets you explore your creativity silently or in a cozy, quiet space; listen to an inspiring podcast or read a book about positive mindset.

Positive Affirmations

Include positive “I am” affirmations in your day to boost your confidence and body love which you can recite in your head or while smiling at yourself in the mirror. Some examples: I am beautiful. I am courageous. I am powerful. The more you say them, the more your mind, body, and soul will believe them!

Change happens in the little steps we take every day. The more positivity we create, the more we will attract into our lives. Be amazed with how much good energy arises from the quiet.
